House, they have too much stuff for an apartment.
Westover Hills or Ryan Place are the neighborhoods I'd target

SigM4Do they have kids or will at any point soon? Just wondering if school district is a concern as Fort Worth proper isn’t where they want to be in that case.
Are they city or country folks? Granbury is about 35 mins away and has a more small town feel. Aledo used to be a ways out but Fort Worth has grown out west to the point that yo don’t really know where it ends and Aledo/Hudson Oaks/Weatherford starts.
We used to live in that area but wouldn’t move back again, despite Aledo ISD being one of the best in the area.
Brock is even further out but growing fast.
Whatever they do I’d try to avoid being dependent on I-35W as part of their commute.

Easiest commute will be SW of work along the Chisholm Trail Tollway (CTT). Any of the following Ft. Worth subdivisions will be relatively safer than average - Tanglewood, Overton Woods, Mira Vista, Hulen Bend Estates & Quail Ridge. They can also look further south on the CTT to Primrose.
From my previous post, Colleyville, Keller, Bedford, Hurst, Grapevine and Mansfield are still good but with longer commute.
Fort Worth is expanding rapidly. There are newer subdivisions west of the 820 loop but I am not familiar with those areas.

Retired Commercial driver, 3 continents, 20+ countries, all lower 48 states. Dallas hands down worst drivers I have seen stateside, Atlanta close second. The stupidity I have seen in Dallas is unreal, you have to go to the middle east to find similar drivers.

BytesThe company is flying the daughter-in-law and son out to the area next week. Copied and pasted the replies in this thread and set them to him in an email. Thanks for the information to all who posted. My son knows this forum has some very good info.

1. Rolex
2. Tiffany & Co
3. Apple
You get the point, living near a Rolex dealer is much better than Cricket Wireless and Payday loans.
There is only one Rolex AD in Ft. Worth, so that narrows it down quite a bit.
My son lives on the western edge of Ft. Worth, actually in Benbrook. Your son's job location could make that an option.
