sphillPEX tools and fittings, help needed
The house I own has all 1/2" and 3/4" PEX throughout. I added a 36x24 porch on the back and put a sink on it as well. I need to now put a T in the hot and cold line by the sink and have no tools for this. I want to buy a good set just once. My fear is from what I see, nothing in the PEX world is standard. Every clamp/crimp has a specific tool with it.
Any assistance here is appreciated. I was recommended the Zurn QCRTQCM WITH QCLP3XNPK10 crimps but it looks like those have been discontinued.
Does anyone have recommendations?

TXJIMAre you sure it's PEX and not Kitec?

rexlesYou can use cinch clamps and they use the same tool for all sizes. I got mine at Menards

^^^ This is your solution.
Sharkbite (Cash ACME) also makes a multi-crimp tool #23100 for use in tighter areas.

detroit192There are three different types of Pex. Some use a compression fitting. One uses an expansion tool to open the tube and a compression fitting to help secure the joint.
