bigwagonAnything that contributes to the ultimate downfall and destruction of CNN is a good thing. I'm not sure if removing him or leaving him in place would have accelerated that decline, but I'm still in favor of anything that causes them chaos or damage as a business entity.

tatortoddToo bad as there were more swarmy douchenozzles he hadn't fired yet. In my lifetime, I don't recall a CNN CEO firing more on-air "talent" in a year, but I didn't read about many behind the scenes (e.g. editors) douchenozzles getting fired.
In Corporate America, the hatchet man typically does the dirty work and then they bring in somebody else to create the new culture. With all of the behind the scenes douchenozzles remaining (e.g. the ones who ran to other media sources to wine about Licht), it seems like a group to build a continuing culture of failure with. Haha!!!
However, it would amuse me even more if Warner Bros. Discovery did bad cop (Licht) and worse cop (i.e. next CEO) as far as staffing.

bdylanYeah, they fired the guy prematurely...he wasn't finished cleaning house. They'll try to move forward now and will be shocked that the new guy receives the same push back the hatchet guy was getting.
