Anyone use one of the pop-up minimalist wallets?
I have had the huge wallet forever and recently finally realized I don't need all this. I have been looking at the minimalist style with the pop up cards, but I hear maybe they don't work so well with metal cards or different thickness type cards. Anyone use one?

I have had this one for a couple of years now and really like it. It forced me to get rid of some cards that I didn’t really need.
I have a metal CC and don’t have any issues.
Note: it doesn’t have the pop up feature but is probably smaller than those.

I've been using a Slimmy wallet which is a super thin minimalist wallet and carrying in front left pocket for years now, after a chiropractor told me that carrying a giant thick George Costanza wallet in my back pocket was messing up my hips and back.

I love it.

I've been using a Nomatic pop-up wallet for about 6 months now. I like it. It's not mechanical, but I think it's as thin as a wallet can get.

I got a generic version of this for $7 off ebay. It has worked well for me, but I haven't been tough on it either.

I use an Ekster and really like it. They're not so good for carrying cash all though four or five bills can be stored in the band.

Hey Vaalic,

You will get leads to a lot of different ones here.
But I will address your questions.

I have been using a cheapo off Amazon.
Been using it for 6 years.
It handles my cards, as well as, my metal Amazon card too.
It blocks RFID, and I have had no issues.
I have several thickness cards, SS card, DL, and they all work fine in the popup..

Be Mikey!

Try it you'll like it!

Been using one of these for years, even have a spare waiting on this one to take a dive, they last forever if you take care of them, leather is best...

You can find similar money clip wallets, Hartmann stopped making them.

My wife got me a Ridge wallet a few years ago. I carry and use it every day. It's absolutely the bee's knees. I keep a CC, Debit Card, CPL, License, Costco Card, Health Insurance card, HSA Debit Card in it, and usually a $20 in the clip.

Would recommend and I would replace it in a heartbeat if I needed to. Also, switching my wallet to my front right-hand pocket has been a pretty big time-saver for me too.

Harumph. My Saddleback wallet wore out relatively quick. Their warranty isn't exactly what you're lead to believe it is. Not if you're honest anyway.

I have a MagPul really minimalist wallet.

MagPul wallet from Amazon

Kinda expensive for what it is, but it works for me. I don’t carry cash.

Popup wallets are cheap garbage and embarrassing when you pay the check. Look at Speakeasy Leather for quality minimalist wallets. I carry the Dillinger cc.

I bought the one like smlsig has. Figured at that price it had to be good.

I was wrong, it was simply too small for me.

I carry a bifold like I have for sixty years-it's worked for me so far.

I have three credit-type cards, my D/L, concealed carry permit (yeah, we don't need it for firearms in Florida, but it saves me the three day waiting period if something catches my fancy), VA Card, various insurance and medicare cards and cash. Cash is still king as far as I can see.

If you get a minimalist, I wish you luck, just ain't for me.

This plus my wife's ID, wife's Medical Insurance cards. I would have to keep up with 3 minimalist wallets to hold what I have to carry. I had a hard time finding a replacement for my large bifold wallet so I also bought a spare.

I use these from FlowFold. Light weight, tough, inexpensive ($15), will easily hold half dozen cards.

I’m with V-tail - been using a flowfold wallet for probably 10 years now. Very thin, light and durable.
