It’s easier to slide your weapon on/off your belt, assuming most wore weapon on right. Easy to Unfasten belt, slide off weapon and refasten belt.

Try threading a needle. If you're right-handed, you probably picked up the needle in your left hand, the thread in your right. You then held the needle stationary, and guided the thread towards it. It's the same when you put on a belt. You hold the belt tip in your right hand, and guide it to the first pantsloop. Also the same for the belt buckle, holding the buckle with your left hand, and guiding the belt towards it with your right. It's how we're wired. Hold the target stationary, and aim with the strong hand. This message has been edited. Last edited by: kkina,

Because I'm a guy and it matches my shirt buttons. If I was a gal, I'd be going the other way on both. You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02

Most men are right handed. Men's belts go on counterclockwise so that when he's getting undressed for some serious sports, he can grab the buckle with his right hand, whip that sucker out like drawing a sword, swing it around his head a couple of times yelling "yee-haw", and then give her a quick spank with the loose end if she's into that sort of thing. Well, at least that's what I do... "I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . That’s the only way to pay back part of that vast debt, to live up to and try to fulfill that tremendous obligation." Clockwise, no idea why, just the way it came natural as a kid likely. Left handed. Two more to ponder... Sock sock, shoe shoe ..or.. sock shoe, sock shoe? Remember the Archie Bunker Meathead argument over that? Hair part. Did you just go with the grain? My parents parted my hair going with the natural way it swirled... on my left until I started brushing it myself. I had trouble doing it that way so they reversed it to my right side. Been doing it that way since the early 60s... despite it going against the natural grain. Even had a barber ask if I knew if I was parting my hair on the "wrong side" once... yep. After all these years it tend to make my hair stand up in one spot because I'm doing it backwards to the natural flow but old habits are hard to break... especially if you don't try Link to original video: https://youtu.be/prRtcQz8Uqk Collecting dust.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should |
Mine has a slight curve cut into it and it would be the wrong direction otherwise and the belt buckle won't go through the loops. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Most left-handed people thread their belt in clockwise, keep their wallet in their left rear pocket, and wear their watch on the right wrist. The belt buckle points to the dominant hand... "Dead Midgets Handled With No Questions Asked"

Womens jeans used to have the zipper on the side. It is now in the front. Any particular reason for the change??

I too was trained about the gig line and have adhered to it ever since. At the time of the training, I wondered why a red faced man was yelling in my face about such a minor and mundane matter. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles
