I don't see a problem with this. When a particular political persuasion wants to ban things like cars, then ban them for all of those registered to that political persuasion.

Shit, I been saying that for years, what with the hoplophobe's penchant for suggesting "if it saves just one life it's worth banning guns!" Somehow those lives saved by the banning of private vehicle ownership just aren't worth as much to them.

Ooooooooooooooor, and hear me out, we can look at the causes, rather than the tools used. I know, it sounds crazy, but I really think that might lead to the answer.

I didn't realize that autos were a gender equality issue, as well. I guess it's true that all the terrorists using autos to kill people are male though! Maybe Sweden is on to something.

Well, they are always held up as The model of democratic socialism. When you start off like that, it is bound to lead to some absurd logical extensions of the socialist worldview, absent any significant dissent to slow it down.

All the more reason to continue the fight here - lest we wind up like Sweden!

Govt of Sweden killed SAAB at the Altar of Global Warming. They hate cars, period. I wish Sweden would complete their long march to national suicide. Norway and Finland need some extra parking spaces. And both nations need a little extra space for dumbass Russian invaders to get retrained as valets and taxi drivers so they don't repeat their dashcam mad skilz on Norwegian and Finnish roads.

They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

I agree that vehicles should be banned for the citizenry. Only trained and authorized Government employees should be allowed to possess or operate vehicles. Then, only On-Duty. Especially the High capacity ones/trucks which are far too deadly for the public to possess
