Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown August 10, 2017, 05:40 PM

VBVAGUYAs a Christian, my opinion is that if she becomes a preacher, she will have many followers and that can be a very dangerous thing as we may be heading to the end times. You know what makes its appearance in the end times leading many people to stray. God Bless

olfuzzyWe had a supervisor at the Post Office that was a preacher. He donated his entire income to the church but he was the only one that could spend the church's money. Every thing he purchased was from the church account. Sweet tax free life.

sjtillMy brother, a retired Methodist pastor and Bernie supporter (reluctantly Bernie being not leftist enough), nonetheless is very excited about this possibility.
Oh and anyone who supports Trump cannot be a Christian.
This is why I stopped looking at Facebook.
Brother and wife would be surprised to hear my wife and I have too much love in our hearts to be honest with them.

That's funny..... you don't look Methodist!

sjtillI was a Methodist when they still believed in evangelism, not coexistence. Spent my Sundays as a youth singing in the choir. As a result I know all the words, and bass harmonies, to hundreds of wonderful old hymns no one sings anymore. I take that back--my new brother Richard in Malawi played them on the CD in his Toyota on the road and we sang them together.
Nowadays I'm nondenominational, as in "community church", as in ex-Presbyterian because the PC(USA) went crazy leftist. Sad when a church's beliefs are indistinguishable from the Democrat Party platform.

kimber1911Hillary is in for one hell of a surprise.
All is not wine and roses, in fact it is actually grape juice in those little plastic cups.
