Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. Every man should have several guns. And several dogs, because a man with a cat is a woman. Kurt Schlichter

Thank you, I needed that laugh.

Laughing in the face of danger is all well and good until danger laughs back.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

The dog I had before my current one was a service dog in training who flunked out.

His was for barking at other dogs and they couldn't get him to stop.

Seriously though. My wife used to work at the vet clinic that helped out guide dogs for the blind a huge provider in Marin county. They give these dogs to families to do everything to be ready to give to a blind person. They are amazing dogs. And they can flunk out if 1 thing isn’t right. Like they won’t cross the street right or something small ( but huge for a blind person)

The list to adopt out the flunkies is huge as they are really really smart well trained dogs.

That provided a needed laugh. It is amazing how trained dogs can help out a person in need.

Shared this with the gal who trained my late son's service dog Stark. She got a kick out it. Thanks for posting!

That's funny as can be. Not a care in the world of passing or failing. I'm jealous.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
