I like the way the RSO caught the Garand clip. I want to be that cool some day.

That was fun to watch! He must have had a blast.

Though the M4 looked a bit sloppy, he had decent control. I wonder if he had prior experience to keep them from climbing?

You can Tiger...Just believe in yourself and keep practicing. Ha ha...

Used to do it all the time when I was in a re-enacting unit.
Easy to do when you are shooting blanks.

Looks like a good time. Wonder if the grand included the ammo?

My Dad told me the Army had a training film about the MG42 sound to show GI's heading for Europe during WWII. He said that sound scared some of his buddies.

If you like the single MG42, you should shoot two of them on a twin anti aircraft mount..... Cool

Given all the ammo and the variety of guns, I would have expected it cost much more than $1000.

AND, what is up with those RSO uniforms?

I'd have the same cheesy grin on my face too. In fact I'd probably just ask to spend the whole grand on the mini gun. Maybe a few rounds with the Golden AK too.

Damn straight.

And have.

Couple thoughts:

M60-- ahhh memories.

MG42- holy cow what a rate of fire ... Hitler's Zipper

MP-5-- if I ever win the lottery I will get one Smile

MP40 --- looked really controllable for the simplicity and 'basic' design

AK-47 -- forget hitting anything on auto -- maybe you can scare em off...

Good fun and well worth it.

Thanks for posting that video!

It's a range in Las Vegas called "Battlefield Vegas". They cater to the tourist crowd. Kind of like a gun amusement park.

So they have to "look cool" for the tourists.

One of their armorers has several very interesting threads over at AR15.com (username "HendersonDefense") where he describes the wear and failures experienced on their various different platforms, and how they compare to each other in reliability and durability. There's a huge volume of rounds put through their rental guns. They go through approximately half a million rounds per month, much of which is fired on full auto.

Here are their prices, or you can build your own package ala cart:

https://www.battlefieldvegas.com/collections/packages

(Despite the thread and video titles, the guns shown in the video are nowhere near all the guns they offer.)
