rduckworOn Line virus scanners
Had an alert this AM that the on-board software had found and quarantined a trojan.
Cleaned it up and immediately ran MalwareBytes to make certain. Nothing found.
Currently running ESET on line scanner which has detected four issues. I'm pretty sure I will receive a dire warning when it finishes that my programs are not up to snuff and I need immediately to buy theirs.
Anyone have any favorite online virus scanners that are effective and don't shill for their product?
Thanks,
RMD
<EDIT> SWMBO's computer was struck last night by the "Fall Creator Update" from our friends at M$ despite my best efforts to isolate her box from their ministrations. It is now slower than molasses in January. So, I get to fix that issue as well today. Nuke and Pave in the future.

rduckworYeah, I did run Windows Defender and MalwareBytes.
I usually run an online scanner as well if either of the above turns something up, well, just because. Congratulate me! ESET is now up to 17 threats!
What fun!
