I have been reviewing the threads on window tint. Anyone have a specific recommendation for an installer in the DFW area? Quality more important than price.

Not sure of your DFW location, but I've used Sun Ray Tint in Keller. Three vehicles with good results. Family owned.

They certainly appear to be one of the best based on reviews and social media. A lot of verrrrry high end cars done on their social media pages. I plan to reach out tomorrow.

Huper Optik is likely the best film you will find. They are now calling their automotive films Autobahn.
Use the link on their site to find your nearest installer

Looks like Sunray has been bought by Sun Stoppers. Is this where you had your Taco done with Huper Optick. Looks like Sun Stoppers only uses XPEL now.

Tritek in Garland. They have been in business for decades. They have a very good reputation in the DFW car clubs for tints and PPFs. Tritek

It's been since 2019 when I bought my current Tacoma and had it done, and I know they leased a bigger space (in the same building) a bit of go, but they still have signage that says Sunray. So I don't know. Just going on my past experince.

I'm sure whomever you choose will do a fine job. Be sure to spend the extra money required for ceramic film. Much more efficient at stopping the suns rays.
