I realize that today's MSU loss to Rutgers was an away game, but it reminded me of this thread.

Drink 'til you can't remember your football team lost to Rutgers.

Alcohol sales is a topic at a number of universities. Some universities have shitty fans when sober and they shouldn’t be discussing it. Michigan State might’ve been one of them.

Most of the students that attend college games are tailgating before hand and are pretty lit when they enter the stadium.

Exactly. And sneaking their booze in like they have for decades. Stadium sales are for older people not poor college students.

Would think they have cracked down pretty well on sneaking it in, and now they will have even greater incentive to do so.

Back in the 80's when I was in college alcohol was always served at the games.

In addition to the Kegs at the tailgate party, we would take in Boda bags with booze in them.

Another thing we would do is send the pledges in early with a wheel chair that was modified to hold a pony keg under it. We would put a blanket over their legs that hid every thing.

Where there is a will there is a way...

LOL

Well it’s legal for recreational use in Michigan.

I wouldn't be surprised at all...
