A week or two back my wife had her league portrait taken. I think she looks stunning. She has put a lot of work into this in just under a year. In 8 months she played in about with one of the hardest practicings, playing leagues in the region. Photo by www.viroart.com She wanted me to post that here, hoping you will show your wife or significant others. She is having a blast at derby. Kicking ass. She just participated in her second open scrimmage. Put on by Mason Dixon Roller Vixens. https://www.masondixonrollervixens.com/ It was called Battle of the Freshies. Ie ladies who had completed their skills tests, but had been in less than 3 bouts. My wife had been in 1 bout in November and one scrimmage in December. There were spots for 60 players. They came from as far away as South Carolina, NJ, NY, pa, WV, VA, NC to attend this right of passage. Their home leagues cheer them on in this ad-hoc game. How the night went was 4 teams of about 15 players each went round robin till the two winners of the first two bouts faced each other. This gave the night a total of 6 bouts at 20 minutes each. My wife took the opportunity to be in every bout she could to learn as much as she could, play as much as she could. All in all she would play in 5 consecutive bouts back to back. This year two ladies from Mother State Roller derby went up. My wife's league: http://www.motherstaterollerderby.com/ Mother State Roller Derby is a small league, 7-10 members, most leagues have 30-60. When you have such a small league, you play nearly every jam. Your game is 60 minutes, not the 10-15 that most league players see. Mother State had two pass skills quals this last year and head up to the scrimmage. There was no team to cheer them on, that is not how mother state play's their game. Listen closely to the announcer, My wife is Charminy, number 26 in white shirt. This is her fourth bout, her 5th bout she blocked for 12 minutes straight.

She looks great. Kind of scary. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

I don't have a clue what's happening, but it seems your wife is getting past some who seem to be trying to prevent it. I'm thinking it's probably not a good idea to piss her off. Congratulations, I think you and her have a lot of fun in life, that's something many lack.

She does when she wants to. I shoot 500-1000 rounds a week of 22lr to centerfire handgun in some mixture of ammo. I shoot a metric shit ton in other words. She goes with me once a year. Wanders out to the range puts up a paper ipsc target. proceeds to draw, fire, fire, holster her smith pro shop 642 at 35 feet. She will shoot 100 rounds pack it all up, go inside, and I am standing there mouth agape looking at a 50 cent piece sized group. If it wasn't for here swinging her hips back up to the house I would be Really upset...
