StorminNorminToday I went to my mom’s house and made her beef short ribs, fresh mashed golden potatoes, and asparagus. It was really good and she loved it!

StorminNorminNo pictures this time, but I made beef fajitas. This is the first time I used “Wagyu” skirt steak meat. I always use inside skirt steak, but when at the grocery store I decided to try the “Wagyu” and it was really good. It was very tender and flavorful. Probably because I made sure to not overcook the meat. I put Wagyu in quotes because I know this is just American Wagyu.

Man I love me a good Philly Cheesesteak! There are two places close to me that make them the real deal. Now I want one! Oh…..and I like beans in my chili too!

Best was when I was stationed in Maine outfitting a new construction ship at Bath Iron Works 40+ years ago. Seafood was to die for!
