Ugh! Now that is two ingredients I bought and just realized I did not put in it and usually do. Diced celery and horseradish! I made a big batch so I will add it to leftovers.

StorminNorminMy main meal today was with my mom while visiting her.
Here on a Saturday night I got the munchies and made a grilled cheese sandwich with fresh sliced Boars Head American cheese, some pickled okra, and some Lays sour cream and onion chips.

GustoferOh man! You're killing me Normin.
My favorite breakfast. I'm in the midst of mixing up a batch of breakfast sausage here.
It ain't quite Jimmy Dean, but I'm getting close.

Do you have a recipe for this? I am not a huge corndog person, but his looks wonderful and I always prefer to make something myself.

Yup, I made several extra sausage patties so tomorrow I will do some egg to make a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits. I have tried so many biscuit recipes and this one is the absolute best!

xantomNormin, can you post the biscuit recipe?
If you guys are making your own breakfast sausage I highly recommend this seasoning combo. Verify it's to your taste before you make a whole batch. If you don't like heat you can reduce the amount or remove it entirely.
We made ~25lbs using 2 large pork butts, 1/3 pork belly, and 8 pounds of ground pork.
Legg's Blend 10 Sausage Seasoning - 1 full pouch(8oz).
Legg's Blend 109 Hot Sausage Seasoning - 2.5 ozs total for a 25lb batch.
It is the best breakfast sausage we've made or had.

I'm sure it tastes good, but it just goes against my grain for some reason to make "homemade" sausage with premade seasonings. Why not just buy premade sausage? To that end, I've struggled for years to come up with a recipe that I like. If only I could replicate Jimmy Dean's Sage stuff...I'd be a happy man.
