Last night was Giada De Laurentis' hearty meatball stew. Great tasty and warming dish on a very cold night.

Put a beef roast in the slow cooker all day. Made some fried tacos, so good!

I made my world famous lasagna. Plenty for tonight and about six leftover meals.
Them tacos look awfully good too!

Ah…Adobo is an excellent idea I have never tried in chili but now I will!!! I made this batch very mild so I can share with my mom as she can’t handle any heat spice at all and I will spice up my individual bowl. I have never put chili over rice either so I need to at least try the idea once to see what I think. Thanks for the ideas.
Chili over rice is very good. Plus, you can make the chili really hot, and the rice, especially with butter, balances it out.

Apparently that was before they cooked it.
Medium rare for me.

Not dinner but it filled me up for the day. As my grandma who taught me how to make southern gravy always said, it will stick to your ribs all day.
I have been enjoying making my own buttermilk biscuits from scratch and dang are they good! I made biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon.

No thanks. I like a bit more flavor myself. Tartare ain't for me.
Damn good looking hunk of meat though!

Wife made a Latin soup. Base was similar to pozole but no hominy. Instead we used Navy beans and made it a bit thicker.
Was really good. Coulda used on more chili de Arbole, but overall it was amazing.
