Green thai curry chicken in coconut milk. I get the green thai curry direct from Thailand and it's so much better than anything at the grocery store.

I just got my shipment of Hereford brand Roast Beef with Gravy (cans) and I'm in the process of making my infamous beef stew. I put 1 can of the beef in a 2-qt pot, break up the meat, throw in a small can of kernel corn (drained), and (today) a large side of green beans from Popeye's (left over from yesterday's dinner). (When I don't have that, I use a small can of green beans.) I'm heating it up on the stove and will serve it over white rice.

I'm not a cook, but I can do this. Pics

Filet mignon, grilled asparagus, hommade bread, and either baked or mashed potatoes. Still doing work around the house and wife is still working now, probably going to be a late dinner again tonight.

Well, I got a standing rib roast last week and Monday I put it in the smoker for just under 4 hours for a perfect rare steak. I was able to slice it up to five 1" thick steaks that cover most of a plate. So, since Monday I have had a steak, baked potato, and green beans. I'll have that tonight and Friday night also.

I got an insanely good deal on the standing rib roast and my dinner every night has worked out to cost me $8.10. Eating like a King. LoL

Can I get the recipe and source of your curry? I love so many of these recipes but I don’t think I can make some of them (like Jhe88 looks out of my skill set); however I have made a version of green Thai curry chicken before..just from a kit.

Here is a quick take on thai curry, hopefully tatortodd will share also.

Debone a store bought rotisserie chicken. Shred finely.
Seed, core, and coarsely chop (big slices) your choice of bell pepper.
Skin and coarsely chop a white or yellow onion.
Peel a medium zucchini, slice down the middle lengthwise then cut across in sections (semi-circles).
Thinly slice a piece of ginger about the size of the ebd of your thumb..
Remove the hard fibrous outer sheath of a piece lemongrass about two inches long. Mince the softer inner core.
Peel a carrot and give the zuke treatment.
Slice a jalapeno or hot pepper into sections about the size of a nickel or quarter. Seed and devein.

Optional but preferred, zest and juice of one lime.
Optional but not preferred by me, a sprinkle of fish sauce

Optional veggies...
Bean sprouts
Mushrooms
Fresh English Peas
Green Beans
Snow Peas
Garlic
Shallots

Blend a heaping tablespoon of cornstarch into 2 cups of coconut milk.
Open a can of coconut cream OR a package of powdered coconut

Open a can of MAESRI brand curry paste; green, red, mussaman, prik khing, ku chee, karee, panang, kaeng kua, YOUR CHOICE.

In a LARGE pot, not a skillet, coat the bottom with veggie oil and a little chili oil at high heat. Add the carrots, ginger, onion, lemongrass, hot pepper. When the onion softens add the zuke and bell pepper. Stir constantly, add 1, or 2, or 3 tablespoons of curry paste. Stir good and add the chicken and coconut ingredients, reduce heat and stir until thickened. Serve with rice or noodles.

You can find MAESRI or MAE PLOY curry paste online, or at an asian grocery store.

Hobbs cooks pretty food and takes great pics. There was a good porn thread a while ago, probably pruned, but if you can find it there are some amazing looking plates.
