Show us how it turns out. I am sure you will like the okra!
Had a problem. My new timer(never used before) started, and while I was prepping/cooking the rest of the meal IT STOPPED!!! By the time I figured it out, I didn't know how long they had been baking...i.e., I cooked them too long. I ate some of them and liked the taste, so I will give it a go again soon as soon as I pick enough okra for a mess. I think it is going to do great.......will keep all informed.
My wife and I actually like the okra more cooked than not; even to the ver crispy side. I will eat okra just about any way, but I do like them baked crispy. All depends on your taste.

turkey burgers (ground turkey, mixed with chopped up onion and red pepper) chicken Thighs, corn on the cob sauteed some onions and grilled some Zucunni as well,
got enough left over for a couple days worth of lunches
My son made smoked marinaded pork tenderloins for dinner and his lady made great sides. Had too many gin & tonics after this great meal. Heading for bed early.

It was smoke-and-bacon day here at Casa de vthoky. We smoked bacon-wrapped pork loin, bacon-wrapped corn on the cob, and bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers.
Friends came over and brought store-bought pie, homemade blackberry cobbler, and some ice cream.
Bellies are happy.
God bless America.

VT, sounds OK, but it could probably use a little more bacon in my opinion. Like how Americans eat breakfast.

Steak and cheese on French bread with red pepper and jalapeno from the garden. I tried some frozen "Gary’s QuickSteak® 100% Sirloin Beef" I saw for the first time at the grocery store. It ended up being similar to but much, better than steak-ems. I am not sure if it was formed meat product or actually shaved steak, but it was pretty good.
