Power is nothing without control
| I forget what the marketing name for the technology is, but Panasonic is one of the few microwave brands that actually adjusts the output power of the magnetron when you set it to lower power levels. Most microwaves will just turn the magnetron off for some percentage of the time and assume your food will diffuse the heat over time. Panasonic keeps the magnetron on all the time, but lowers the power output so the food actually gets lower, more even heating. It only matters when you are using less than full power, but it’s pretty cool tech.
