I just bought a Bosch 800 series dishwasher with the crystal dry feature, it is AWESOME. Super quiet, the crystal dry is really cool technology, it basically uses a catalyst to remove water vapor. It also has infinitely adjustable drawers with a narrow 3rd drawer for narrow items like spatulas.

I am thoroughly happy with it. I've owned a samsung and it was pure garbage.

As far as washers / dryers, we have Speed Queen. I prefer a top-load washer tho. Why introduce another failure point with the door seal? Also, in the beginning there were issues with mold growth in the front load washer segment.

We have the Fisher and paykel dish drawer. It is awesome, and pretty reliable. I had to replace a control board and was able to do so on my own. Very quiet also.

I forget what the marketing name for the technology is, but Panasonic is one of the few microwave brands that actually adjusts the output power of the magnetron when you set it to lower power levels. Most microwaves will just turn the magnetron off for some percentage of the time and assume your food will diffuse the heat over time. Panasonic keeps the magnetron on all the time, but lowers the power output so the food actually gets lower, more even heating. It only matters when you are using less than full power, but it’s pretty cool tech.
