Mr.9mmApparently the Renegade owner I passed recently felt left out: She had a 12” high rubber duck on her dash

My Wrangler has been ducked a few times. I keep passing them on to other Jeeps.

trapper189This is new to me. My CJ7 had a vertical dash and so does my GPW.

This is something I wondered about earlier today -- if you started with, say, a half-dozen ducks would it be enough to get in on the game without having to buy more?

TexasScrubI enjoy a good ducking! But I only keep two on my dash, one is from Bucee's and the other is a Trump duck. I have a lot in an ammo can in the back that I'll duck someone who's jeep impresses me.

captain127Back east ( Jeeps common but not nearly as ubiquitous as they are in the southwest) I got the “Jeep wave” all the time. When I moved to Arizona it didn’t seem to be a thing like ducking. After a few years my old tired rust bucket got traded in and I do sort of miss having a jeep. But at the prices they are asking for them these days, I suspect my jeep owning days are over. From what I can tell just a basic one is mid 30’s and I have heard people talk of having tricked out ones that in at least one instance top 100K
I originally bought my first back when they were considered the least costly 4x4 you could buy, in 2000 I bought my first, and it was around 20K. My 2009 was 24K
My old 2000 I literally gave away to a guy I know ( he really stepped up to help my wife with various home repairs when I was deployed) when I gave it to him it was at around 235k in miles, none of the door locks worked, nor the heater among other things. He still has it and runs it mostly in winter to plow snow with over 300k on it now

Frenchy1004I know somewhat about the wave, but never knew about getting ducked. Based on what it sounds like though, my 47 CJ2A would not be a prime candidate for it. Still fun to cruise around in, especially this time of year.

vthokyI've seen the Jeep silhouette in the windshield trim, but I didn't know about those. Neat stuff, bald1!
