So, two more interesting finds tucked amongst the stuff..... Copyright is 1919. No markings or writings in it to make it personal, so neither my brother nor I want to hang on to it. Anyone know of any forums (aside from eBay) I might wanna show this on? Next, a mint boo-boo. Apparently screwed up $1 bills are not THAT uncommon. I gather there is a whole litany of descriptions for misprints. Can anyone tell me Barney-style what this is so I can Google it? _______________________________ The artist formerly known as AllenInWV

https://forums.collectors.com/ I used to frequent this forum, when I was into coin collecting. Great knowledge there. Q

I believe that would be called a (partial) front on back misprint.

So it isn't the next "Inverted Jenny" (the stamp with the airplane upside down), or a "Lyson's Corner" SIG? Did that somehow get into circulation, and if so, why was it not caught before it left the facility?

A quick Google search the day I found it said it might be worth up to $50, so no. LOL And yeah, it's not uncirculated. The item I read said simply due to the numbers of $1 bills printed, they don't get the QC that say a $100 bill gets. _______________________________ The artist formerly known as AllenInWV
