I'm sad to hear this. He was a wonderful curmudgeon. If I remember correctly, he didn't live too far from the Flying Saucer / Futuro house in Covington, KY, and I could see his house every time I'd cross the I-75 bridge south.

He was highly knowledgeable on Smith & Wesson, and a big fan of the P210 as well.

Funny that Para mentioned that Dick came across as really old, because I had that same impression. And he was a character alright, and grumpy, and I do mean that in a loving way.

He will definitely be missed.

It's always sad to hear of a member passing and we do have a considerable number of aging members. I hate hearing about losing people but I know it is inevitable and part of life.

When I joined, I guess I figured all you farging bastages were gonna live forever.

It's quite a thing -- this community of people that gather over a common interest and grow to know each other, and support each other over such a span of time. Dick had been active on this forum for over 25 years. He was one of the (many) good ones here. I'm sorry to see him go.
