I am conflicted today, as these are my number 1 and 2 teams.

tatortoddWow! Both Big Ten teams are leading at half.
UofM kicked a last second field goal and leads 'bama 16-14.
The Golden Gophers lead Auburn 24-17.

ubelongoutsideAnyone else having to watch the Citrus Bowl with Spanish dubbing?
Channel 7 WXYZ in Detroit has Spanish voice over.
Apparently not just me either. I tried contacting the station, but they have no contact info on their website. I figured out how to tweet at them but still in Spanish.

Happened to me before. Turn off the sound and try to find the play by play on the radio.

New Year's Day Bowl Games: #18 MN vs #12 Auburn at noon on ESPN in Tampa, FL, for the Outback Bowl. Depending on which odds service you believe, the Golden Gophers are 7 to 7.5 point underdogs. Statistically, they're pretty even matched on offense, but Auburn is nearly 4 points per game stingier on defense. They have faced zero common opponents. I'm rooting for MN, but frankly IL and WI showed future opponents how to beat MN. I predict Auburn wins but fails to cover.
#14 UofM vs #13 Alabama at noon on ABC in Orlando, FL, for the Citrus Bowl. The Wolverines are unanimously 7.5 point underdogs. Statistically, Alabama is much better on offense (110 yards and 15 points per game), and on defense UofM gives up slightly less yards but gives up about a point more per game. They have no common opponents, but UofM has too much pride to schedule Western Carolina School for the Blind (i.e. non-conference creampuffs that Alabama schedules)
. If Tua was playing I would predict a blowout, but I think UofM follows LSU's and Auburn's blueprints to pull off the upset.
#6 Oregon vs #8 WI at 4:00 on ESPN in Pasadena, CA, for the grand daddy of them all (i.e. the Rose Bowl). The Badgers are unanimously favored by 3 points. Statistically, they're within 1.5 points of each other on both offense and defense. I predict the Badgers win and cover.
Minnesota game tied right now. Good game and I'll pull for the Gophers.
Michigan vs. Alabama. I can not pull for either team. Yes, Michigan is Big10 but I just can't. No real love for Bama either. Still watching with partial interest.
Oregon vs. Wisconsin. Have to pull for Wisc. No love for Oregon.
Been a good bowl season so far and even though the Bucks lost, I'm still watching other games and have no ill feelings towards Clemson or the refs. Some calls were iffy but in the end, Clemson won.
I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

The War Beagles can’t even beat #18 Minnesota.

C-DubsCongratulations to the Golden Gophers, and their fans (especially Chance) on their fantastic season, ending it with the win over Auburn in the Outback Bowl!

tatortoddCongrats to MN for both winning their bowl and having the first Big Ten win in the Roaring 20s.

I know what you mean, but was pulling for Michigan to have a quality win, and looked like for a while it could happen.

RHINOWSOMichigan was firing on all cylinders and couldn't even beat Bama with a backup QB. Bama made the final statement with Najee Harris just running over and through the Wolverine Defense the last drive of the game. At one point he was pulling 4-5 defenders with him. The final TD was a nice touch and a huge 'screw you' toward Harbaugh - I don't see why MI keeps him around, I think it's time for a reset for Blue.
Hope the Badgers beat the Ducks down, the Pac12 deserves to be embarrassed at every opportunity.

C-DubsSheesh, the Badgers aren't helping themselves with all the penalties.

It's pretty remarkable how the bammers are yammering on about how now they would beat every single team including LSU.
I don't believe I've ever so much looked forward with hope to a Michigan thumping of a team. Of course, there will be endless excuses in the wake of that too.
Still waiting for that Michigan thumping of a team.
I did enjoy Minnesota beating Auburn.

RHINOWSOSucks for the Badgers, but you can't expect to win a game like this with a -3 turnover margin.
They had the Ducks number there in the 3rd but that fumble killed their momentum.

Yeah, but the truth is they barely beat the Badgers, who lost to Ohio, who lost to Clemson.
