customer service is rare to come by these days. This company has it down to a science!

I wanted to put a "gun wall" up in my basement. I was originally going to go with gallowtech, but decided to order a few samples from these guys first, being a good bit cheaper.

www.wallcontrol.com

I ordered two panels (I need a total of 11), and a few random hooks. When the order showed up, one of the panels had a slight dent in one corner, not a huge deal, but I called the company to see if I could exchange it for a new one. No. They apologized, duplicated the entire order, no questions asked, no pictures requested, and even expedited the shipping.

Here is where I'm at so far, like I said, I need a lot more panels and hooks etc. So far I'm happy though and am putting a large order of 50+ panels together for my shop. taking care of customers should be rewarded, and what better way to show my appreciation than to spend a lot of money with said company!

Good story! I used a few of their panels in my old kitchen for pots and pans and I really liked them. Good to know they stand behind their product.

A wall of guns is soooo much cooler than a gun safe. Cool

I've got one of them too Razz but I agree, and the basement is secure. Im going to end up putting the longer ones vertical I think, I don't like the look of the stock and barrel hanging over the edges on the shotgun in the picture

Nice! My house is too small and storage is always an issue. Gonna get a couple for the kitchen for sure and see if I have any wall space left in the garage.

How, and in what ways is your basement secure, in whatever detail you care to describe. I have been thinking of different ways to make mine secure as well.

There's only two windows, both have those "security" glass blocks that are super thick and you can't see through completely. I have a locking exterior door that leads down from my living room. Don't get my wrong, if someone wanted to steal my shit, and they were determined they'd get to it. I suspect that's the same as with my safe though, with some tools and some time.

I think the majority of the guns will stay in the safe, I'll just hang a few shotguns, a rifle or two, and a couple pistols up with a plate carrier, and other cool guy, mall ninja stuff up Razz

My windows.

I got another panel hung tonight! Really liking these

Gotcha. I'm thinking along similar lines. With time and tools and a willingness to make noise, nothing is secure. But it can be made difficult enough without too much trouble, and really difficult with a little more trouble. I lean towards a little more trouble.

Agreed. We have cameras, attack cats, and neighbors that work from home that I trust pretty well (we've alerted each other to strange things, last night he texted me at 1am because he heard a smoke alarm going off.. that type of deal.. we have beers on Sundays, he's an honest guy and our wives are friendly.) I get I'd have to do poured concrete walls, reinforced steel doors, I don't have the patience and I don't want to spend the money to do that on a house I'll likely only own for the next 4-6 years. I think the current setup is pretty good.. it'll never be perfect and there's always someone that can beat it.

How cool is this? Smile

I'm sorely tempted to get that for the reloading bench in the man cave.

very cool! I'm a little disappointed I went with black, but am thinking of doing one of their really narrow panels in blue
