Blocking number on Sprint phones
I want to block someone from contacting me on a Sprint phone. I can “block” but I still get the VM or can see that they texted.

How can I block them so I get zero notifications of any type?

Well, I don’t know about sprint phones, with an iPhone running running 13.x on the Verizon network, blocked numbers still go to voicemail, they just don’t show up where new voicemails do. Instead, at the bottom of your voicemails, next to “Deleted Voicemails” you get a “Blocked Voicemails” option. When you go in there, you can see them. If you use “Clear all” to delete them all, the option goes away until you get another blocked voicemail.

And that is what I’m trying to avoid, I don’t even want to see that.

Directly on the Sprint website, on mysprint.com, you may block 25 voice and 25 data (text) numbers. The preferences are under "Limits and permissions".

• Manage who can buy in store
• Block Apps, digital media downloads & third-party charges
• Block adult content and malware
• Block texts
• Block pictures and videos
• Block data
• Block voice

• Outbound International Direct Connect
• Wi-Fi Calling
• • Permissions

They done really pissed you off huh? Smile
I was surprised to see the blocked VMs. I only found the cause I accidentally deleted the wrong voicemail and had to go dig for it.

The reason is you could block or the system block a caller that you are waiting on in error, with the VM you can check to see if it was valid or not.

Similar to the spam folder, woodman has the correct method, although you ought to be able to do it from the phone...
