This is a VERY interesting video on Google’s ability to sway millions votes via their search results. Google’s parent company was Hillary’s largest donor. Should tech companies be allowed to manipulate search results to help a candidate the company prefers? These are publicly facing private websites. I think they would have the same 1st amendment protections as newspapers (who have been openly biased in their editorializing essentially forever.) The cure would be to start more conservatively based competition.

Or maybe just building a search engine that pulled results based on relevancy rather than pushing any political ideology? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

It does seem a bit interesting that the biggest political donor to a campaign used a company under its corporate umbrella (Google) to sway voters. While it is legal it certainly seems somewhat wrong. When you look at the number of millions of voters they claim to be able to sway I can’t help but wonder how many close elections have democrats won due to their virtual mass media monopoly? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance
