With an ASR Brake for the suppressor and I’m gonna shoot some deer with it until the form 1 comes in…I’ll even put a sling on it for the old men of the forum! That is all.

R.I.P. Peanut. And we red all around fellas!

Weird post? No, I’m just tired, and tired of being sad so I’m gonna buy guns and shoot them until I’m not anymore!

Thanks, ORC,

I feel a little weak as a man lately, been real tough to watch what’s happening to my Dad. Seeing a grown man, as close or not close as we may be whither away in front of me has been tough.

He’s been on an ever so slight uptick the past few days but I’m not holding my breath for a miracle.

Saving grace is that work has been phenomenal with all of it, I don’t have to go in any day if I don’t want basically. I take care of him, his land, animals, and responsibilities every day and they are 100% okay with that.

I love ya ORC, and Rogue, Beancooker, Q, Bald1, many others who have sent me words or positivity through all this. I’m not by any means the first person on here to go through something like this and I won’t be the last. But I love yall and appreciate the hell out of ya!

Ain’t no deer indoors my friend…and it’ll be suppressed. The AR10 is exceptionally long and heavy, even at 16” so this will be FUN!

Enjoy the hell out of that 300 BLK pistol James!

I did something similar a couple decades back. Picked up a XP100 in 7mmBR with 14.5" 1:10 barrel and mated it to some custom wood. No good reason for the acquisition. Just did it.
What a hoot and the fireball it produces with my favorite handloads of 120 grainers pushing 2,555fps is awe inspiring! Super accurate to boot!
FWIW from what I've read that's comparable to a 7mm-08 or 6.5 Grendel with 120 grain pills. Big Grin

Too old now at 77 to be adding another caliber to my arsenal but youngin's like you just should enjoy the hell out of what is new that tickles their fancy!

I have a .300 AAC Blackout pistol and a .300 AAC Blackout SBR. I just got a suppressor and it's a hoot too shoot!

I really like the caliber. A good subsonic round, and no slouch as a super sonic round

But, there's a new apple of my eye. 338 ACR. I'm very interested in this new upcoming round.

I have been looking, debating, and thinking about adding it to my arenal. Why? I don't know, it just "speaks to me". It's the 8.6 Blackout, but in a 5.56 package, and I like that.

Enjoy your new toy! Shoot, reload, and be happy! The .300 AAC Blackout is a great round. Easily take down deer, coyote, and a good self defense round.

I have a 300BO AR pistol with a 10.5” barrel.

I use a Sig Sauer 7.62 QD can(I think they have a newer version). It’s the cats meow. I put an adjustable gas block on it. So it set it to work w/o the can and it is 100% reliable w/o the can-withsupers and subs. Also reload, so I’m GTG.

I started with a Diamond Back pistol, got the other barrel and put a DOLOS Pantheon barrel switch system on it, so I have a 300 and a 5.56.

I sighted-in a new 7.5" 300blk pistol last month with some 125 grain AAC supers. Had fun shooting it.

It didn't seem nearly as "concussive" (blast or sound) as my 10.5" 5.56 with 55 grain bulk ammo. That sucker seemed much more disruptive.

Oh man I gotta get me one of those! I pretty much despise novelty roll marks but that’s pretty cool.

A 300BO pistol or a Scorpion is likely my next purchase/build.
