Found it on FB marketplace, 2016 1-owner, 122kmiles, good maintenance, near new set of Michelin Cross Climates, garage kept non-smoker. 4.6L 300hp V8 and full time 4x4. $19,500 and $2k sales tax and fees made it just a bit under $21,500 otd.

Nice!
Always liked those.
Timing belt, interference engine, or the 4.7 was, so keep that in mind for the future.

Very nice, enjoy! Isn’t it more like a Land Cruiser than a 4Runner?

One of the best vehicles made. We had a 2018 for a while. Bulletproof and fantastic off road and on the beach. Good luck with it. FYI, it does require premium gas.

Very nice! It should last you many more miles with minimal maintenance. I looked hard at those, but the rear barn door was a no go for trailering my boat.

The GX460 has an evolved version of the 4.7 you could say. It’s got a timing chain, you’re correct that the 4.7 has a belt.

Looks nice.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Well, that's good to know.
While I've always liked the GX, doubt I'd find one that clean to replace my FiST in the small budget I'll likely have.

That is definitely not a 4-runner, GX is based off the Land Cruiser Prado which is sold in varies places around the world just not here.

We bought our GX new in 2016 when we had our first kid thinking when they turned 16 it could be theirs. We have since had second thoughts because it’s still in excellent shape and running great.

That would be the LX470, I think this is the Sequoia sibling.

Either way, that is a NICE do-it-all vehicle. Those engines are thirsty but bulletproof.

I always considered the 4.6 as the best engine Toyota ever made, including the 20 R series

The 4Runner and GX are both built on a platform called a Prado in the rest of the world. The “Land Cruiser” refers to one vehicle in the US while it’s actually a line up of several versions everywhere else.

Purely anecdotal, but Lexus owners do seem to take better care of their rides than average.
