for a real old Ceramic teapot lid.
Glue/epoxy needs be strong
water proof
non gap filling. the joints are tight.
high enough temperature rate
food grade
clear or white preferred
How close to this list can I get?

Turning_galI would use “Gorilla epoxy clear”. Found at Lowes or Home Depot. 5 minute set-time, extreme heat tolerance, gap filling.

UV glues wouldn't work. The UV light needs to penetrate all the way through, which won't happen with ceramic.
