Man am I glad I put my G19 COA on hold at their Bardstown location and not the Louisville location or I would not have been able to pick it up for awhile!!!!!

That’s a fifteen minute drive from me. I’m in there all the time. It’s a pretty good size store, about as big as the Bardstown location. Good people work there, I hope they will be back up as soon as possible for their employees.

Wwwhhhhaaaatt!?? When did this happen? I'm somewhat local, like 35 minutes + away. I never heard of this ( mind you I petty much don't watch T.V. )!

Hate to hear this, I have been a happy customer for years.

Glad no one was hurt! That video was crazy.

I believe it was Wednesday night.
I called Friday of last week to put Money down on the G19 COA the Bardstown location is closer to me so I picked that one instead of the Louisville thankfully.
Got the email Thursday this week I think saying they were closed due to storm damage. Did not have the video link or how much damage.

Went out to grab my gun yesterday. My local gun shop closed its doors for good a few months ago so now KY Gun Co is the closest Blue Label dealer with decent stock so made the trek out there for the first time. Pretty nice place with a big selection.

The get home and that video popped up on my YouTube feed.

I presume that water had not been draining properly off the roof and just weighed so much it collapsed. That is a ton of water to come in there all at once.

I hope they have "loss of business" insurance. If they are leasing that building, I hope the owner has something similar.

Looks like they're going to have a ton of "slightly wet" stuff on sale real soon.

They are quite large and they have two locations.
I recently heard they became the largest volume FFL in the country.

There is a place in western Kentucky called Whitakers that is even larger then they are when it comes to physical store size.

I believe Whitaker's is out of business. At least the last time I was in Owensboro, that's been almost a year ago.

That's ashamed, they had great deals there.

Ky gunco are sold. I have gotten afew guns from them. Great prices, great customer service. Good stock. I hope the Louisville store is up and running again soon.

After Darrell Whitaker passed, the story goes that his estate ran it into the ground.

They’ve been out of business for over a year. When he was alive they were the largest volume FFL in Kentucky. Their original store at the time was probably 7000 square ft. Darrell was a shrewd businessman who treated people right.

Bummer to hear it went out.
I have not been out that was in probably 5 years or so.

That is pretty crazy. I couldn't imagine if people were in there/ in that vicinity of the store, when that happened. Glad to see there weren't.

That store is 30 minutes SW of my home. Nice place. Sorry to hear of this.
Whitaker’s was another great store that will be missed.
Regards to all.
