if the question was whether or not they'd fit in a car wash, yea it'd be strange!

True that.

OP has posted numerous questions about buying, driving, and modifying his new used Lexus SUV over the last couple of months. He doesn't do anything without checking with the forum, first. Well, except for driving it in 4WD on dry pavement.

You must not have been paying attention.

I’ve seen several of the threads, but the LX designation means nothing to most folks. It’d be like asking you if it were safe to wash my 3LT with dawn dish soap. Maybe a handful of guys might know what I was talking about, while the rest would be left scratching their heads.

Not quite the LX is not a designation it is the model of the vehicle.

Like as will my Accord, Highlander, Civic, Corvette, Mustang.

Now if he were to ask is my 200 series then that would be equivant.

Actually, the 'LX' is only a partial model designation. The 3rd gen (current) 'LX' series SUV is an LX 570, while the 2nd gen was the LX 470 and the 1st gen 'LX' (introduced in 1996) was the LX 460....Just sayin' Wink
