Our schools have long since been taken over by those who would destroy this nation. Whether they are intentionally doing so is another question. My thought is that the large majority of them simply have no logical thinking abilities. Those abilities, if they ever existed, were removed years ago by the previous generation of uneducated "teachers".

Even if it isn't quite right. She's been "doing this for thirty years!" As they say in Texas, you can do something the wrong way for thirty years, and eventually you'll get to be very, very good....at doing it the wrong way. Still, it sounded impressive, even if at bottom it was still just whining.

Yeah, its everywhere. My son is in a civics class where they have to watch CNN for 20 minutes a day, and write down three things that they see on it, and read it to the class. Most of it is Trump bashing non stop.

He had to write a similar paper on what he would do if he was in Congress, and one of the big things he wrote was that he was going to disband the Department of Education. He was given a poor score (C+) for using his paper as a platform for "hate".

Good for you and keep it up. While I'm not a parent, plenty of my friends are, one of them was a substitute teacher, he got sick of it and left but, not before revealing one of his frustrations was the lack of engagement by parents...to be parents. A large chunk of the parents, while well intentioned simply looked at the school system as an elaborate baby-sitting service. The kids would get home and dad/mom would immediately turn-on the TV, video game or, distract the kids with some game/toy/activity. The parents were barely, if ever, involved with the kids active learning, simple discussions and talking, rather than instructions and direction was missing for most kids. I'll hand it to the lefties, many are involved with their kids, problem is they fill them full of bad info and fear.

We are not going to "combat climate change"--the Earth will do what it will. It has been doing so for 4 billion years, all without our help. It has had warm years and cold years and we had nothing to do with it. That is true now. We would be better off to figure how to live with it than attempting to find ways to fight it.
