After 33 years, my favorite leather gloves need to be replaced. I want something that is leather, thin, but is insulated. No ski type or hunting gloves. I have those. Theses are for when I am out and about for work.
Thanks!.

TMatsI have my dad’s black leather gloves (Thinsulate lined) that I got when he died, 13 years ago. I think they still look pretty darn good. These are from LL Bean

YellowJacketI have a pair of fleece/leather gloves from Orvis that I got about 12 years ago. They do not get a ton of use down here in Georgia, of course, but I like them because they fit well in the field or in town. I cut a slit in the right trigger finger on a pheasant hunting trip to SoDak but you can't tell it.
I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

MikeinNCWhen I was policing I found a thin pair of neoprene gloves actually kept my hands warm, but they were for shit for searching people or providing safety like leather gloves would have.
Now I wear some no-name black thinsulate ski gloves when it’s cold out

maladatHestra makes by far the best leather ski and biking gloves I have ever used. While I haven’t tried them, they also make non-sports gloves (Hestra calls them “fashion gloves” in contrast to sports gloves), including insulated ones in varying degrees of insulation.
They’re very expensive, though.

jtedescucciLooked all over that "Hestra" web page & could not see prices anywhere. Do they sell these gloves like some very expensive watchmakers do? ...where you have to contact them for prices? What's going on here??

jtedescucciI believe I could deal with euros - I have before, but that's not the problem. Problem is, my machine is not showing ANY prices of any sort: dollars, euros, pesos, pounds, punts...WNHATEVER
