Right address/site to donate to Trump2020?
I am intending to donate to President Trump for his re-election. While it may be peanuts for some, to me it will be a substantial donation.

Problem is: I get emails and texts (I have my non-contact phone calls blocked), all of them asking for donations to the President's re-election campaign.

All these requests for money say something like: I can get a new hat, get a new cup, that Donald is so disappointed my name hasn't been on the donor list, and both Eric and Donald Jr. are just shocked that I'm not on their list. I assume some of these are valid, and some are bogus but I want to be sure when I send this check-sure that it will really get to his re-election campaign.

And I can't recall where I sent $ in 2016 as I was pretty sick then with some cancer problems.

So, where do you recommend I send my check?

Thanks in advance. The members here are the most knowledgeable posters on the internet, IMO.

That page is to Winred. (scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the "paid for by winred notation" Winred is a FOR PROFIT origination created by the Republican Party to raise money and the proceeds are divided up between republican candidates running for other positions as well as for Trump as they see fit.

I was trying to figure this out but have not to my satisfaction.

Read my post near the bottom of page 175 of the Trump year IV thread.

Trump himself even retweeted that winred link. I think we can trust it.

I contributed here;

https://secure.donaldjtrump.com/donate

The mailing address is:
Donald J. Trump President, Inc
C/O Trump Tower
725 5th Avenue
New York, NY 10022

I was concerned about this on the other link: "Paid for by WinRed. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. WinRed.com"

All go to the same address, as noted above.

I bought a Trump toy wooden semi from the site for combination contribution and something to sit in my office as I do commercial driver defense work. I get letters, mail, emails, texts DAILY from DJT, RNC, etc. I feel bad they are wasting their ad money on me. I would assume they would spend the money on people that haven't contributed, winning hearts and minds, etc. Unless they think they found a sucker and want to milk me dry. Been thinking about buying the toy Trump train as well....

Have no idea where mine went as they have all been digital. I have given a few hundred to Winred but would have liked to be able to direct some to specifically to Trump

I agree. After I saw this on the WinRed site, I decided to make my contribution elsewhere, for two reasons.

1- I didn't want Mitt Romney to benefit from my contribution in any way.

2- I assume that WinRed takes a percentage of the contributions. I would rather donate directly to the candidate,, who would then get 100% of my donation, instead of 50% (or whatever, my guess).

I sent my contribution to Rose Tennant. She is a radio talk show host, sometimes she fills in for Sean Hannity. I have listened to her for a decade (Quinn & Rose) and I believe her to be an honest Trump supporter. She was hired on June 1st by Trump Victory as their Finance Director for PA. I mailed a check to her in PA.

Looking at her e mail again, her online address is through WinRed. So there you go.

Now I get DAILY mailings from Donald J Trump, and his entire Fam Damily, Jr., Eric and Melania (I like Melania best). I think I could heat my house all winter with the paper I have received.

Glad for this thread. After making a sizable contribution in 2016, I’ve received lots of solicitations for more. I was going to send a check in response to one of them, but wondered if the request was legit. It had this address on the return envelope:

VTP29
TRUMP MAKE AMERICA GREAT COMMITTEE
PO BOX 1776
MERRIFIELD VA 22116-1776

So no “Trump Tower” in that address, and I’m still suspicious of it.

I sent one to the RNC and one to WinRed yesterday. While I have only donated a few hundred bucks, I fell it's cheap compared to the alternative of a Heels up Harris president.

I appreciate all the responses. I, too, want my money to go to the President, not the
Republican Party.

So, that's what I want to do, give to him, not to anyone else. And, from the responses, it looks like the contributions all end up with
WinRed.

Not what I'm trying to do.

After reading this thread, I’ve concluded that this address is my best choice for a contribution that goes to the Trump 2020 campaign, rather than the RNC.

I just received a contribution request that looks wholly legit. This one even has a return envelope that doesn’t require postage. Smile

I googled that and it came back as "Paid for by
WinRed."

I guess I'll send the money, since time is getting short, and just not worry over how it gets used.
