I'm on month 2 of a new side-business, with a new to me phone number. I never used to get very many spam calls on my personal cell #, which I still have. It's now non-stop. I'm getting like 5-7 per day. Sigh.

Still get them from time to time.... most just ring, if you answer they never say anything, I just let them go to VM and they never leave messages, then block them...

I just get emails with McAfee and Geek Squad bills, generally one each day.

I have my iPhone configured such that calls from numbers that aren’t in my contacts are silently routed to voicemail.
Many of them are marked as “likely spam”. More recently, some are now marked as “charity” or “political”. I don’t know how Apple is able to recognize their nature.
Serious about crackers.

I've noticed a massive reduction in spam, especially texts, since we stopped going out to eat in places where you leave your ph.# so they can page you when your table is ready.
I have had this happen before when I would leave my number again only to see a massive uptick starting a couple of days after and lasting for months. This cycle has happened at least three times. Now that is one hell of a coincidence.

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

I still get 1-2 every day or so but my phone is set to only ring from those in my contact list, all others go to voicemail. So I'm never bothered with them and they never wait in order to leave a voicemail.
No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.
I found that if I do not answer calls from suspicious numbers, the call frequency slows way down. As soon as I start answering most calls, the incoming spam calls goes up to 10/day. Right now spam calls are running about 2/day.
