c1steveIvory soap has changed. Need recommendations for unscented pure soap
I really like Trader Joe's Oatmeal bar soap. Has some texture to it, and is unscented.

I think air has always been added to Ivory soap. That’s why it floats.

According the this excerpt from a 2004 article, they just started doing this in 1863:
“But an 1863 notebook entry by P&G chemist James N. Gamble may set the record straight, according to Ed Rider, the company archivist who found the document.
"I made floating soap today," Gamble wrote. "I think we'll make all of our stock that way.””

clipper1I'll cast another vote for Kirk's only in the bar form. The Kirk's liquid is not the same, although originally the liquid was the same recipe as the bar. The bar is a true 'soap'.

jcsabolt2Highly recommend consulting the
Yuka app. They have food and cosmetic products, including soap. You can even tailor the results around some of your own preferences. We use it a lot to differentiate between "dirty" food and "good" food.

GeorgeairBut does it still float?
If not teaching the grandkids to bathe in the lake is going to be challenging!
