In October 2024,@BillNye told MSNBC viewers that if Americans voted for Kamala Harris, we could stop destructive hurricanes like Helene and Milton from forming in the North Atlantic by stopping climate change.

Funnily enough, Trump won the election and last year was the first time in a decade that no hurricanes made landfall in the U.S. despite La Niña conditions. This year, none have hit the mainland and in fact, there have been no hurricanes at all in the Atlantic up to this point, the first time since at least 1941, largely thanks to Saharan dust and El Niño-induced wind shear.

Seriously, I think he has a bachelors degree in engineering.

I noticed in Para's post that Bill Nye went to Cornell.

Cornell University is widely considered to have the best ornithology program in the world. Perhaps they can study Nye's little bird brain. Big Grin

Many hurricanes to no hurricanes they want us to beleive climate change is the culpit. This is the unfalsifiable model the left has created. The Popper Rule of science states all science must remain falsifiable. Einstein expressed this notion saying a thousand people could think I'm right, but one person can prove me wrong. Richard Feynman expressed the same notion stating in science trust no one. The left claims 97 percent of scientists agree climate change is real. The debate is over. That argument is a logical fallicy. Appeal to authority. Also not from the scientific community. The unfalsifiable model does not come from science. It comes from politics. And, trust me, all the solutions are political.

But the ‘Light-bringer’ himself, obamalamadingdong, once declared that ‘climate change’ was “Settled science”.

Science is continually evolving. The best minds of their time thought the human body was composed of four "humours" and disease caused by imbalance in one or more of them, that the Sun revolved around the Earth, and others.

And the best part, ANYBODY who dared to challenge or even disagree with the accepted dogma, was violently attacked and/or persecuted.

Today’s religious fervor surrounding the ‘accepted science’ of climate, evolution, etc, accepts and tolerates ZERO debate. You either agree with them or they demonize you.
