There is an electric water heater that has not used for about four years. The power has been on for the entire time but the line has not been used. Should the tank be drained before putting it back in service? The tank will supply water to a sink and a washing machine. Thanks

sure, turn off the power and drain it "Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor.” Robert A. Just make sure it's filled before you power up. _____________________ Be careful what you tolerate. You are teaching people how to treat you.
