Hey guys. I was asked by a friend who has family up in that area if I knew of a good gunstore there. I'm the gun guy so of course I would know where to buy a Sig 365 up there lol.
Well I said I would ask around, hopefully someone knows a quality store that won't ruin the experience for a new gun buyer. Thanks in advance. Pete

What's his (her) zip code?

Use ths site to find an FFL for incoming transfers, and order the P365 from Top Gun Supply.

I would hope by this point that most places are sticking to the $499 MAP and not marking up. P365s are readily available in wholesale channels.

I only know the shops NE of Atlanta. The Academy Sports stores are worth a shot, usually a good selection of guns and ammo at good prices

Yes, $499

Yea this guy is my buddies BIL, he’s a Dr and not a gun guy. FFL transfers and the like are not in his wheelhouse which is why I’m trying to find just a solid gun shop. He’s not trying to find one cheap he just wants to go in purchase with minimal extra “noise”. I don’t know his zip code but I do know that buying and transferring isn’t the route he will take. I like the Academy Sporting Goods route because those are easy. Thanks for the input guys I will start passing it along.

Agreed. These guys are good people.

Adventure Outdoor is humongous. It's like a freaking Sams club sized gun store. Not sure I'd send a first timer in there.

There's another side to that coin.

I find that it's a bit of a pain in the anatomy to go into a gun store, try to get somebody's attention, then try to find out if what you want is in stock, a lot of wasted time.

If I know what I want, and you state that your friend has decided on a P365, it's much simpler to order from a reputable place like Top Gun Supply and have it sent to the FFL that I use (Pawn Shop Guy). He will send me a text when it arrives, I go in, do the 4473 (which I would have to do in a gun store anyway), and I walk out with the new SIG.

No waiting in line, no dealing with a salesman, no crowds, just go in, do the transaction, and walk out.

I suggest Cherokee Gun & Pawn. Small shop, good folks. FFL transfers are $25, but they probably have what you’re looking for in stock for what you’ll pay online.
