Any movement is good movement. Too many people sit around and do nothing. Look into Chair Yoga, most people here couldn't do it very long.
There are lots of apps available.

What a loaded thread.

No example of said 7 min routine. Yet wanting others to search and figure out what you are talking about.

Tai chi thrown in as some veracity point(is it real?), also CHINA.

Lazy, do better. (Tai Chi has been documented for over 1,000 years...also thousands of free videos on YT)

You've been on this forum since 2005. Certainly you know how to use tech.

If you need attention, I'm more than happy to to drive to you and give you a hug. Winter is tough I know.

In China, every morning, the entire company works out doing tai chi before starting their day's work.

Honestly I have little knowledge about Tai Chi but have always have had some interest in it. Exploring it some.
That is all. Maybe some will find this stupid or interesting. Just thought I would see if anyone has and experience.

It's currently a "thing" that companies are pushing. Reportedly, they want to sell you the program on a subscription basis, and then also reportedly, they make it hard to cancel.

I learned basic Tai Chi in elementary school phys ed. It's good for mobility and stretching, it keeps you limber. There is nothing wrong with it.

It will NOT turn you into a ripped 70 year old, any more than yoga will turn anywoman into Kendall Jenner.

There is plenty on youtube to learn from. Hell, in my town, there is morning Tai Chi at the city recreation center for a small charge.

I don’t know, but I do know this. When I reached the age where I couldn’t practice MA any longer, I practiced Tai Chi. I was as serious about it as I was when I trained in fighting arts. I did Tai Chi for at least three, and probably four years, and learned a long form Yang style…”form,” I guess. I got bored.

Traditional Tai Chi is not what you asked about though, you asked about chair Tai Chi. I say go for it. If you don’t think you can stand and move through a form, then moving your arms and legs from a chair has got to be miles better than doing nothing. Just moving helps joint lubrication, and at least maintains some level of muscle tone.

Thanks, I can do standing TC but thought that chair TC could be a way to learn something about it and also receive some benefit from it. I will be looking into other vids for more ways to do it.

Speaking of which, I need to get back to that, or at least start doing to chair exercises at work.
