I'm so sorry, man. Been there fairly recently, it's hard.

My sincere condolences. My household menagerie has 2 female cats 15 years old and 2 cats (male and female) that are 13. Knowing that indoor cats don't live a lot longer than 14 years has me worried that I'll lose my older kitties in the near future. So far they all seem in good health, but that can change very quickly. In the past I've lost 2 cats who were less than 14 and just suddenly stopped functioning. One was euthanized and the other just died. Very sorry times.

Once your grief has lessened, perhaps you should adopt a couple to fill the void.

So sorry to hear. My condolences. It is always so hard to say goodbye. One of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge just as COVID started, very difficult. She was a very sweet, affectionate cat. You will always carry your two cats in your heart.

Lex and Luther. The wife came up with the idea and it stuck. The names just seemed to fit. Everyone that dropped by loved calling them over for a pat on the head. "Lex, Luther, come over here for a bit of loving!" They were more than willing to do that. Those boys just loved people.

Very nice story. It will take some time but just know that when y'all are ready there are lots of wonderful kitties needing your love and attention.

They won't be replaced but getting young cats again helps a lot.

I just discovered that one of my outdoor kittens has died. Probably from the heat. I have shade and water out for them, but don't have a way to cool them off.

Bytes I know how you are feeling! Never easy to lose pets who are actually part of the family. My condolences to you and your family.

Sorry for the loss of you little fur guys.
I caught one having kittens in our window well and now she's queen of the castle. And it makes me happy to see an end to her rough outdoor life.

I wonder if you can do something like a reverse insulated cooler that people modify to keep wild winter kitties warm.
Maybe a bag of ice a few times a week is involved and that would provide water too? I don't know. Just throwing that out there.

So sorry for your loss. Losing a pet friend is always difficult but they bring us so much love and so many good times to remember them by.

So sorry to hear that it is that time for the boys. It’s amazing how quickly they can completely win your heart over.
