bigpond73Fathers day gift ideas.
Well, Fathers day will soon be upon us. This year, I am stumped as to what to get "the man that has everything." So, I am asking the forum for their suggestions. Here is one, and it was a suggestion here (which I have used, and yes, they are awesome):

Balzé HalzéWell, I feel ya'. For myself though, when my wife was looking for an idea, I mentioned I needed a proper apron for grilling. I pointed to this particular item from the Daily Wire and Matt Walsh.

Fuck yes. My ideal Father’s Day gift is a hug and an “I love you”. If I want a physical gift, a hand written note would be the perfect item. Really it’s all about time. The time they spend with me and the time they put into any physical item.
I’ll also accept guns and bourbon…but my kids are a little too young for that

JohnVCouple of ideas:
A Bug-a-Salt is about the most fun you can have outside. I use mine all the time while grilling. Really takes those flys out! I have the Black Fly Edition.
Also a high quality satellite image of his favorite location printed. There are a few companies who do this and laminate them.

SRMy dad always liked candy or nuts for father's day. Might be too late to order anything but if you live local, swing by a local store and get some of his favorites. (Dad's were chocolate peanut clusters.)
One year we got him M&M's in his favorite team colors. (He was a big Denver Broncos fan.) That was a hit.
One year I gave him a flashlight and every year after that I gave him fresh 123A batteries.
My kids are now in their 30s and I have grandkids. I'm good with a call or a card. (none live within a hour) I'm currently on a diet so not interested in a big quantity of nuts or candy. If your dad is the same way, the idea of going out for coffee might be the way to go.

Very north edge of Kng.

Group of us sometimes get together for breakfast occasionally. Would be happy to include you if you wish. At least one of us lives up in your neck of the woods as well.

gjgalliganI read an article in Readers digest many years ago about Mother's Day gifts. Lady that wrote it was a bit older and her husband had died. For her the best gift was when her children & grandchildren would show up and do many springtime task, putting up screens, cleaning up the flower beds & yard, ect. They all brought food and made a whole day (sometimes weekend) out of it.
For some fathers the same idea might work.
