Did not know that these existed.

anyone know the advantages over a front mounted thrower, that you drive in to the snow , instead of driving over it first?

seems like driving over it would pack it down to much.

I guess it would be great to drive forward in to traffic, instead if backing on to the street

It seems to be doing a pretty good job. I didn't see clear pack tracks from the tires

Something like that would make me welcome snow. I've found the best snow removal is 75 degree days. Big Grin

Normand Snow blower $ 4,500
Total cost $43,921

Value to get out of the house during snow storm and not have to deal with crazy wife and screaming kids - priceless...

A pair of those does the development that came in next to us. They do our driveway too.
For some reason, they are quieter than the plow trucks we used to have. Either that or the noise blends in w/ the sound of my fan.

What's nice is they seem to turn off the blower until past our front door sidewalk, then kick it to shoot it into the yard.

Compared to the last plow truck we had doing our drive, the tractor had far less snow pack.
