Universal Remote Suggestion
I have bought a new receiver, Onkyo TX-NR6100, and TV, SAMSUNG - QN65QN90BAFXZA. The receiver is here, and the TV should be here Monday. I will be hooking up a new HTPC and a Nintendo Switch. I have a Harmony one remote, bought in 2011, that still works for my current setup. It's been a while since I configured the components, but I am guessing that my new components will not be compatible. I'm trying to find a more modern solution. What are you all using these days?

You can check the compatibility list for your remote HERE

I've got the simple (no screen) harmony with the smart hub/repeater and I've been able to easily add new devices as the old are replaced. I think your existing remote likely will work.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

You might be able to find such an app for your smart phone.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

This! I actually prefer the no-screen Harmony remote because the battery lasts forever.
