I have bought a new receiver, Onkyo TX-NR6100, and TV, SAMSUNG - QN65QN90BAFXZA. The receiver is here, and the TV should be here Monday. I will be hooking up a new HTPC and a Nintendo Switch. I have a Harmony one remote, bought in 2011, that still works for my current setup. It's been a while since I configured the components, but I am guessing that my new components will not be compatible. I'm trying to find a more modern solution. You can check the compatibility list for your remote HERE
I've got the simple (no screen) harmony with the smart hub/repeater and I've been able to easily add new devices as the old are replaced. I think your existing remote likely will work.

This! I actually prefer the no-screen Harmony remote because the battery lasts forever.
