So I love the beverage Moxie. You can find it all over the Great State Of Maine and New England in general. I grew up drinking this stuff it is absolutely delicious. I have been around a lot of places in my life and unfortunately Moxie was not always available. I am currently in eastern NC and in order to get my Moxie fix I usually bring a few cases back from Maine whenever I visit.
Well no more!
I was in the local Pig today and my eye spied a bottle (glass none the less) of that famous elixir. One dollar and sixty nine cents. Of course I grabbed it. I'm down to my last 12pk of cans and I'm not heading to ME until November. If I can get this local it's a win win. A win for me, and a win for out southern brethren who can now partake of this drink of the Gods.

Medicine? No I'm not lying. It's a very different taste.
Are there still Moxie Day parades in Maine? (Moxie muffins, Moxie cakes...mmmm...) Gotta look...

Its okay. Been a while since I had one. I think the taste is something like a crossing of RC Cola and Dr Pepper.

You've never heard phrases like "didn't have the moxie" or "gathered up his moxie to (do whatever)"?

Yup, the local Piggly Wiggly. Surprised as hell to see Moxie. Better than a Coke and a smile, is a Moxie.

Moxie and delicious are two words I never expected to be linked. In my experience, it was the single worst soda I ever drank, even beating out Irn Bru.
I am glad the OP enjoys it but shipping it South may result in a rebirth if the Confederacy. It is the first shot in a renewed War of Northern Aggression.

It was required every time I visited back north that I bring back some for friends down this way.
