So I have been running bitdefender on my laptop with no issues for several years. Lately it has been very flaky and bogging down performance so I was looking to see what other options are out there that forum members like?

Thanks in advance!

Windows Defender comes with your computer, is free, and is actually excellent.

Do you have a comprehensive backup strategy and good password hygiene? If not, work on that stuff first.
