Excellent. It would be cool to now which toy company made that and when.

Because son, it is what you are supposed to do.

Dad was born in 1918 in Montana. Family notes he was born in a log cabin. Internet ancestry research indicates it was in Bruce, Mt. based on two actual documents dated either side of Dad's birthday. Here is another bear pix

I'd like to post a few seconds long .MOV video. Any one know how?

Couple of thoughts for your movie… You need a site that will host it, link from here (and it this forum has to approve that format).

Alternatively you could create an animated GIF, perhaps through a third-party website free service and then post that here.

Where is Bruce, MT? I'm pretty familiar with most places here but I've never heard of Bruce, and Google ain't helpin'.

Cool bear, though.

That is a great bear and and a great story about your dad. Imagine being born in a log cabin in a place that doesn't even exist anymore.

Just think of the stories he could tell.

That’s cool, what’s the covering on the bear? Leather?

Bruce, MT on a 1920s map.

Bear fur looks like a fabric. Very realistic where it still is in good shape.
