Good on the one uniformed agent with the rifle throwing a wall of light up in the above video (Erin Derham X video).

There’s so much I want to say, but I’m angry, I don’t have much information, and I don’t want to say something stupid. Thank God the President and Cabinet are safe. Grateful that the shooter has been captured alive. Very grateful to hear that the Secret Service agent who was hit is apparently going to be all right.
God Bless America

Good evening Mr. Allen, I hope you enjoyed your introduction to Secret Service layered security, now, "you have some 'splaining to do"

Can someone explain the following (in bold)?
Overhead CCTV showed the scumbag run through the security checkpoint with the agents getting out of the way, instead of tackling him. Then one cop can be seen clearly drawing and firing his pistol, while the agent in suit on the opposite side trying to draw his gun, apparently having some difficulty before it came out.
Little known tid bit. Most if not all flights to DC has an Air Marshall on board. Anyone who checks a gun into TSA going into DC… well lets just say you get extra special attention. Im not sure how Cole Allen flew from CA to DC with guns and made it to the hotel much less outside of it, but I would love to hear from SS how they explain this situation.

Based on what I've seen/read from videos on X, I believe the agent you labeled as getting out of the way is the agent who was shot in the vest. If I'm correct, he still drew his weapon after being shot.

Did he fly from CA to DC? Is that a known fact or just an assumption?

If that’s true, I suspect it could have been been friendly fire from the cop opposite of him.

Blue on blue is a real thing. I spent my entire week last week teaching cops to mitigate it.

No confirmation yet on how he got to DC from CA. I hope he didnt fly there because that would raise alot of questions.

FFS why would people flying with legally checked weapons be a cause of concern? And no, there isn’t an air marshal on “just about all flights into DC”. And it’s not an air marshals job to root through luggage for legally possessed items. That is TSA and the airlines jobs. Hell, when I flew armed on a federal task force I ran into ONE air marshal flying from Nashville to Reagan out of several dozen trips to HQ. And, yes they introduce all the people flying armed to the Captain at the same time so there are no surprises.

Post 9/11, every flight to DC had an Air Marshall on board. Any flight going into to DC with firearms checked into TSA gets flagged- thats just a fact you cannot dispute. I never suggested US air marshals personally check all armed passengers. Take a chill pill and read what I wrote before you spew a bunch of fucking bullshit directed at me.

Fox News reported he was staying at the same Hilton that hosted the dinner. A room key (or other proof) would probably have gotten him thru the outer perimeter. How the shotgun was not detected is another question.

Bet he had help and had the shotgun waiting on him. Wouldn't put it past the SPLC at this point.

Kash was at that dinner too.
“FBI Director Kash Patel acted swiftly to protect others as shots rang out at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Chaos broke out inside the Washington Hilton after a shooter opened fire in the lobby around 8.15pm, prompting the Secret Service to rush into action, securing President Donald Trump and thousands of guests.
Patel, who was a guest of the Daily Mail alongside his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, immediately instructed others at the table to get down.
As reporters huddled on the floor and underneath the tables, Patel yelled 'stay down.'
Daily Mail reporters in attendance reported hearing three to four shots and Secret Service agents yelling to get down.
When it was safe to stand back up, Patel and Wilkins asked nearby reporters if they were OK, before being escorted out of the ballroom by his security detail. …”
I can't make out a knee on his neck. Must be the camera angle.

Just woke up to this news, watched Fox for awhile. Dude traveled by train, had a room booked at the Hilton, perhaps planned for months. I have no idea whether one can transport guns on a cross-country train, legally or not. Dan Bongino was the only talking head who spoke sense this morning- stop with the "violent rhetoric from both sides" bullshit, all of this is coming from only ONE SIDE.
The one thing about this assassination attempt is that maybe the media/news personalities now see this from the muzzle side of a gun; they see this from Trump's perspective. Because all of them were holding onto the floor, scared shitless.
