I am glad to see him so angry. Imagine how much that hate eats him up. Let it lie there and ferment into an unholy bile. Go for it Carville, pray for more hate, that's the ticket!

What a week it has been.

https://x.com/JChimirie66677/s.../2030437401860980760

We Don't Need You Any More. And We Will Remember.

There is a sentence that will define Britain's place in the world for a generation. Donald Trump wrote it on Truth Social on Saturday night. "That's OK, Prime Minister Starmer, we don't need them any longer. But we will remember." It was addressed to a Prime Minister who had just offered an aircraft carrier to an ally who had already won the war without us. The offer was rejected. Publicly. With contempt. That has not happened to Britain since Suez. And like Suez, it did not come from nowhere.

The week that produced that sentence is now on the record. Starmer blocked Diego Garcia. He needed a drone on his own runway to reverse the decision. He sent the wrong warship and it will not arrive for a fortnight. France, Greece and Spain defended a British base while Britain scrambled. He called for negotiations with the regime bombing his own personnel. And then, when the war was effectively won without him, he offered a carrier. Trump's response was not anger. It was something worse. Dismissal. We don't need you. We will remember. Britain had gone from indispensable ally to irrelevant afterthought in eight days.

Then came the verdict nobody in Downing Street wanted. Tony Blair, speaking at a Jewish News event on Friday and by his own account saying the same thing directly to the Government, said Britain should have backed America from the very start. The man whose decision to take Britain into Iraq remains one of the most condemned in modern political history looked at this situation and concluded that Starmer got it wrong. They were asking to use our bases for refuelling, Blair said. It is not like Vietnam. It is not like Iraq. If America is the indispensable cornerstone of your security, you better show up.

Now look at what the weakness has produced beyond Washington. In Nicosia on Saturday, three hundred Cypriots marched to the presidential palace demanding Britain leave its bases. Their placards read Cyprus is not your launchpad. Their argument was explicit and it was Starmer's own creation. Britain gave away Diego Garcia under pressure, they said. It can give away Akrotiri the same way. The Chagos precedent that Starmer set in the name of international law has become the template for Britain's further strategic retreat. He did not merely hand over one base. He taught the world that British sovereignty is negotiable when the pressure is sufficient.

This is the logic that connects everything. A government that surrenders Diego Garcia, hesitates over its own bases, gets publicly rejected by Washington, emboldens protests against its remaining strategic assets and faces Iranian cyber attacks on its civilian infrastructure is not making a series of individual misjudgments. It is following a consistent ideological trajectory to its consistent conclusion. The head of Britain's armed forces said this week we are in probably the most dangerous period in decades. The Chancellor cannot find the money to fund the response. The Defence Secretary is heading for a collision with the Treasury. And the Iranian ambassador in London warned Britain to be very careful, knowing full well that very careful is precisely what this government will be. Trump said he will remember. So will history.

Do we really need Britain as an ally anymore?

The Royal Navy, which once ruled the seas, now can’t even get their ships out of dry dock.

Here are actual British Army recruiting posters. They’ve gone a long way down from the WW1 Lord Kitchener poster. Eek

If in fact those are real that is awful. They probably are though because our recruitment stuff prior to Trump was pretty off base as well. Diversity is what makes us stronger bullshit.

What makes us stronger is everyone pulling on the same rope. And being strong motherfuckers to boot. Less Nancie’s more war fighters.

President Trump States He Will Not Sign Other Bills Until ‘Save America Act’ is Passed

President Trump is again urging the Senate to pass the Save America voting act that is a core element of restoring voter integrity in U.S. elections. In his Truth Social post, President Trump notes he will not sign other legislation until the Save America Act reaches his desk.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Federal Judge Voids Actions Kari Lake Took as Voice of America CEO
Those actions included a series of job cuts Lake instituted last year.

A federal judge ruled on March 7 that Kari Lake’s leadership at the U.S. Agency for Global Media throughout much of 2025, including her implementation of layoffs at its Voice of America unit, violated federal law.

Voice of America journalists, a union representing federal workers, and others sued Lake, arguing that her appointment as acting CEO of the U.S. Agency for Global Media and her efforts to lay off employees violated the Federal Vacancies Reform Act and the appointments clause of the Constitution.

Cuba Is Negotiating Deal With US, Trump Says

‘I would think a deal would be made very easily with Cuba,’ Trump said.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on March 8 that the Cuban government is negotiating a deal with him and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Speaking at his Shield of the Americas gathering of Latin American leaders in Miami, Trump said Cuba is “at the end of the line” because Venezuela cut off oil deliveries after the U.S. capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.

“As we achieve a historic transformation in Venezuela, we’re also looking forward to the great change that will soon be coming to Cuba,” Trump said. “They have no money. They have no oil. They have a bad philosophy. They have a bad regime that’s been bad for a long time.”

The president said Cuba is currently negotiating with himself, Rubio, and “some others.”

“And I would think a deal would be made very easily with Cuba,” Trump said.

Trump has urged the Cuban government to strike a deal with his administration since early this year, and has increased pressure after Maduro’s capture. Previously, Venezuela was overwhelmingly Cuba’s largest source of oil.

Cuban leader Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez responded to Trump at the time by saying on X that his nation was “ready to defend the Homeland to the last drop of blood.”

“Those who blame the [communist] Revolution for the severe economic shortages we suffer should hold their tongues in shame,” he said on Jan. 11.
By late February, Trump was floating the possibility of a “friendly takeover of Cuba” by the United States.
“The Cuban government is talking with us,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Feb. 27.

“They’re in a big deal of trouble. We could very well end up having a friendly takeover of Cuba after many, many years. We’ve had a lot of years of dealing with Cuba.”

He also indicated that Rubio was negotiating with Cuban leaders “at a very high level.”

“They have no money, they have no oil, they have no food, and it’s really right now a nation in deep trouble, and they want our help,” Trump said.

The loss of Venezuelan oil and financial support worsened Cuba’s already dire economic crisis that has been gripping the island for nearly a year and a half. Catastrophic fuel shortages have driven frequent blackouts and disrupted transportation.

Large-scale shortages of food and medicine have also affected the nation’s nearly 11 million residents.

Cuba has been under communist rule since Cuban leader Fidel Castro’s 1959 revolution. For decades, Havana’s leaders have resisted calls for change from the United States and Cuba’s population of exiles who have fled in the years since Castro’s takeover.

But now that the United States is engulfed in a war with Iran that the Trump administration says is largely about kneecapping and replacing Tehran’s theocratic regime, some U.S. lawmakers have questioned whether Cuba will become another target for the U.S. military.

Speculation began weeks before the joint U.S.–Israeli strikes on Iran’s senior leadership.

Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) asked Rubio during a Jan. 28 Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing whether the U.S. secretary of state “would make a public commitment” that the U.S. government would not get involved in regime change in Cuba.

“Oh, no,” Rubio said at the time. “I think we would like to see the regime there change. That doesn’t mean that we’re going to make a change, but we would love to see a change.”

A change in Cuba’s regime “would be of great benefit to the United States,” Rubio said.

He referred to the Helms–Burton Act of 1996, which requires a democratic transition in Cuba before a U.S. president can normalize relations with the island.

“It was codified in law, and it requires regime change in order for us to lift the embargo,” Rubio said.
