Probly decent in a fist fight. I wouldn’t want to punch a guy wearing that. At least it kinda stopped the handgun. Maybe some soft backers would help?

Russian military quartermasters and officers are so notoriously corrupt the good stuff if they have any was probly sold off for hard cash. Russian Conscripts are known to have to buy their own gear. It’s a good thing American body armor vendors can’t ship overseas due to ITAR

I liked the Ukrainian's morale patches.

Guess he is a fan of US Airborne troops.

U.S. and NATO troops have been training the Ukrainian military for years, including deployments shortly before Russia invaded Ukraine, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if the troops traded military morale patches.

Given that there have been reports of Russian soldiers and Command Posts targeted by their smart phone use, I'm mildly surprised to see the Ukrainian soldier using a wireless earbud, but maybe they figure the Bluetooth connection signal is too weak for Russian SIGINT to capture it??

In Soviet Russia armor vests ATTRACT bullets.

The 2-1 means the soldier's odds of dying wearing that.

I haven't seen the video yet, but note that the 7.62 Tokarev round has better than average penetration capabilities, due to its relatively high velocity (for a handgun), especially in some of the surplus ammo loadings that can approach 1800 fps. This results in it being able to defeat much of the handgun-rated soft body armor.

Wasn’t it “A Fistfull of Dollars” that Doc Brown was imitating? It was one of Eastwood’s spaghetti westerns, IIRC.

Looks like they stole the mud flaps off of an International Harvester tractor, or maybe a Farmall.
